Crisis Support Services
A crisis is any stress or pressure that has become too great for you to cope with alone. A crisis can be about anything—suicide, divorce, serious illness, problems with friends or family, financial stresses, or substance abuse struggles. Or it could be a series of smaller problems that have compounded and become overwhelming.

Student Associations and Committees
Iowa MSTP students have the ability to connect and participate in a variety of student-run associations and committees.
CCOM Student Associations
The CCOM Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion supports several student-run associations that build support networks that include MSTP students.

The Office of Student Affairs and Curriculum (OSAC) is the group of 35 professionals that most directly facilitates the activities of medical students at the Carver College of Medicine. Their mission is to provide an environment of scholarship and humanism in which our students can become the well-rounded physicians of tomorrow, fully prepared to enter into their professional lives focused on the well-being of their patients and communities.
